I'm a hardware and software developer in sunny Waterford Connecticut. My full time job and my hobby is tinkering with technology. I'm on the Board of Directors of Spark Makerspace in New London, Connecticut.

Things I can Do

  • Circuit design
  • Reverse engineering of software
  • Node.js App Development
  • Arduino
  • C++
  • Python
  • Golang
  • Linux system administration
  • Network management
  • Java (meh)
  • FPGA firmware (VHDL and Verilog, but they're both a bit rusty)

Things I've Done

  • Operated the 150' Stanford Dish
  • Built many 3D printers
  • Fixed many 3D printers
  • Got frustrated by many 3D printers
  • Co-founded Autodrop3d to ease 3D printer frustrations
  • Constructed a polargraph wall plotter
  • Designed a 3D printer filament sensor
  • Made the PiGrrl2 controller board better
  • Taught a lot of folks how to use KiCad for board design
  • Programmed an FPGA to read a small actively cooled CMOS camera sensor
  • Earned my Amateur Radio license
  • A bunch of other neat and sometimes weird stuff

Things to Do

  • Add my projects to this site
  • Get an RFID/NFC chip embedded in my hand
  • Make a networked timer that dynamically synchronizes with other networked timers
  • Make some sort of cool BeagleBone FPGA project
  • Put together another circuit board class
  • Make HackCT a successful virtual hackathon
  • Keep learning InfoSec stuff
